in the finance department of the parts division. So basically Mopar. Does anyone have any advise for the internship process? Also, besides these companies I am applying to Morgan Stanley, Northrop Grumman, Exelon, T. Rowe Price, and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Be prepared to do bitch work, don't be surprised when they give you early hours, they expect you to work hard, so do what your told and don't be afraid to ask questions.
Also, don't be upset if you don't get a job, just move on to the next possibility.

Good luck. Here is a turbine car for you, 44,500 RPM. By the way, which Northrop Grumman?

Applied for an internship at Chrysler a couple months ago. They get a shit load of applications. I wish you luck.

I applied as mechanical engineering though. Tough crowd.

Very familiar with that car. I was there (Walter P. Chrysler Museum) four years ago.

It would be the NG location in Baltimore for either business management or manufacturing as an analyst.

Good luck for your search, I'm looking for one too but in engineering and in good old Europe. I have a few clues but nothing serious yet.

Go for a manufacturer or something automotive. I mean, chances are low, but I am sure being an oppo you will fit right in and make it clear how passionate you are about the auto industry.

Excellent. I saw one at the Peterson Automotive Museum. Very cool cars. Not practical, but very cool.

NG at the Baltimore Airport does Radars for Surveillance and Fighter aircraft; AWACS, F-22, F-35, F-16. For an internship you may not get an interview, but if there is some way to communicate that you know something about their products and their history that might move you up on their list. Same goes for the other companies.

I had to go back to June 2006 in my pictures.

I'm a finance major myself. Last summer I interned at one of the Big 4 in their advisory practice. Prior to that, I interned at one of Northrup Grumman's competitors in Corp. Strat.

Biggest piece of advice I can give to you is to be yourself during the process. And don't forget to interview the company as they interview you. Look for signs of company culture, and see if it appeals to you. You'll do best at the company where you fit in.

Trust me, I'm doubtful of getting an interview, but trying at this point can't hurt.

I think the car might be more practical than you think, especially if it's technology was advanced over the years. When I went to Michigan I ended up seeing two. One at the Chrysler museum and the other at the Ford museum.

Thank you very much, best advice so far. It might be quite obvious, but during the whole process you can sometimes get lost and forget about your needs. Also, I'm curious to know who the new fourth member of the original Big 3.

Sounds like Baltimore internships. Just out of curiosity, where is the Chrysler internship? My girlfriend sent me one there months ago, but I lost the link.

No problems. If you have more questions through the process, don't hesitate to ask. The internship process can be a real PITA.

Also, I was referring to the Big 4 professional services firms: Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC. Sorry, finance/accounting person jargon.

Ah, more of a car guy than an accountant. I go to a small liberal arts school that really only offers Econ. So, I've had to take accounting and bus. management courses at CC. If I have any questions I will be sure to ask. Thanks in advance.
